Supervisor for our Korean Cowgirl Restaurant

Our Korean Cowgirl Restaurant is atmospheric and inviting, where your plates will be filled with Korean style dishes. From sticky spare rib stacks to honey butter fried chicken wings, not forgetting our incredible USDA smoked beef brisket with a Texas rub.

What does the role look like?

  • Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff.
  • Schedule shifts and ensure proper staffing levels to meet guest demand.
  • Ensure that all guests receive excellent service and promptly address any concerns or issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist restaurant manager/s in the daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness and organisation.
  • Monitor the quality of food, presentation, and service standards.
  • Help manage inventory and supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained and that orders are placed in a timely manner to avoid shortages.
  • Foster a positive work environment and encourage team communication and collaboration to ensure smooth service.

Waiter/waitress for our Firepit Restaurant

The Firepit brings a unique concept to Canterbury and our bold indulgent sharing menu offers a fusion of flavours from around the globe, led by our Group Executive Chef John Bingley. We have a passion for quality produce and ambitious dishes to excite the palate and showcase the best in global cooking.

Restaurant Manager

We cherish and nurture the people we work with, which in turn, contributes to the warm and inviting experience our guests and golfers enjoy. We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to join the team at Cave Hotel & Golf Resort.

What does the role look like?

  • Organise and attend meetings to provide daily updates and facilitate communications with line manager
  • Follow company H&S procedures.
  • Organize and plan rotas on fourth with budgeted guidelines.
  • Handling staff issues in line with company policies and procedures / managing holiday requests / absences / performance management / employee relations.
  • Be responsible for motivating and training the team including company statutory training as well as any ad-hoc training.
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
  • Cash handling – cashing up / restocking change bag
  • Provide Operational support where needed, to include all aspects of serving and bar.
  • Work alongside other HOD’s and support where needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with licencing, hygiene and H&S
  • Strong communication with kitchen passing on all communication to FOH team
